Senior Litigation Counsel

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee significant multi-jurisdictional disputes, including commercial litigation, international arbitration, and financial recovery matters.
• Prepare and submit legal filings such as pleadings and motions across key jurisdictions including the UAE, UK, EU, and HK.
• Oversee all stages of litigation from discovery and depositions to trial preparation with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate with local legal advisors to ensure seamless case execution and conduct in-depth legal research.
• Manage e-discovery processes, conduct comprehensive document reviews, and maintain meticulous case files.
• Support settlement discussions and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) initiatives.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses and cross-functional teams to strengthen case positioning.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a recognized law school.
• Valid license to practice law.
• 7-10 years of hands-on litigation or dispute resolution experience.
• Proficiency in e-discovery tools and litigation support software.
• Practical experience with Google Workspace, Notion, and LLMs.
• Exceptional analytical, legal research, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial litigation.
• Familiarity with ADR methods such as mediation and arbitration.
• Experience with case management and legal project tools.
• Knowledge of legal tech solutions and their application in dispute resolution.
• Willingness to travel for court appearances, depositions, or meetings with external counsel.
