Senior Loan Originator

Responsibilities

• Lead origination of overcollateralized stablecoin loans backed by tier-one digital assets and RWAs
• Build and expand relationships with institutional counterparties including exchanges, custodians, brokerages, and trading firms
• Serve as primary owner for Ethena's secured lending relationships, acting as trusted advisor to capital allocators
• Develop innovative secured loan structures that fit the protocol's risk profile and create unique product outcomes
• Drive strategic growth of the total loan book to positively impact the Ethena protocol

Requirements

• Seasoned experience in credit risk, counterparty risk, or financial markets risk analysis
• Background in secured lending with digital assets, including originating loans with market makers and crypto-native trading firms
• Strong understanding of institutional, CeFi, and DeFi secured lending markets
• Proven ability to negotiate lending agreements and close complex deals rapidly with diverse counterparties
• Strong financial and quantitative analytical skills to evaluate collateral frameworks and portfolio exposures
• Comfort working in a high-trust, flat hierarchy with asynchronous communication
