Senior Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the secure transport and delivery of classified, sensitive, and mission critical materials
• Maintain strict chain of custody procedures and accountability documentation
• Perform secure material handling activities including receipt, inspection, and inventory verification
• Coordinate movement schedules, routing plans, and dispatch activities
• Interface with Government personnel and security representatives
• Monitor and track movement activities for compliance
• Prepare and maintain operational reports and transportation logs
• Support operational planning and resource requirements
• Ensure compliance with all security procedures
• Supervise Logistics Specialist teams as Team Lead

Requirements

• Ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level
• Expert level knowledge of chain of custody procedures and secure handling
• Minimum of five years of experience in logistics, transportation, or military logistics
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military or deployed operations experience
• Experience supporting Department of Defense logistics
• Familiarity with NAVSUP Mail Tracking System
• Experience operating in austere or high operational tempo environments
