Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Optimize pricing models to reduce infrastructure costs while improving accuracy for high-value assets
• Iterate on underwriting models to maximize cash advance disbursements within risk thresholds
• Lead the full ML lifecycle from training and feature generation to production deployment and monitoring
• Collaborate with Expert Pricers to integrate domain expertise into model improvements
• Design and execute experiments and backtesting to validate new features
• Own AWS infrastructure and write code for pricing APIs to ensure low-latency, scalable service

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years building and shipping production ML/AI models
• Deep proficiency in Python and SQL, including custom feature-engineering pipelines
• Experience training and validating gradient-boosted or ensemble estimators
• Experience leveraging LLMs and foundation models in production
• Experience with MLflow or comparable experiment tracking and model registry tools
• Proficiency owning production model-serving infrastructure on AWS
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time or low-latency model serving at scale
• Previous startup experience in fast-moving environments
• Knowledge of trading cards, collectibles, or alternative asset markets
