About the Company
Sweatpals is a community-first fitness platform turning workouts into social experiences. Backed by a16z speedrun and other major investors, we connect hundreds of thousands of pals, hosts, and gyms through social features and marketplace tools.
Responsibilities
- Frame product problems as ML problems including ranking, retrieval, and LLM agents
- Run end-to-end modeling from data exploration to online experimentation
- Ship models to production and build evaluation harnesses to monitor drift
- Develop LLM-powered features for HostCopilot and Pal-facing surfaces
Requirements
- 5+ years of applied ML experience shipping models to production
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Solid foundations in ranking, recommendation systems, NLP, or LLMs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketplaces, search, or recommendation systems
- Advanced degree in ML, CS, or Statistics
- Familiarity with FastAPI, BigQuery, FAISS, and AWS
