Senior Manager, Accounting

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop two Senior Accountants focused on fixed assets, parts inventory, prepaid expenses, and monthly accruals
• Oversee and improve fixed asset accounting processes, including internally developed software and construction-in-progress
• Partner with Business Operations to improve end-to-end parts inventory accounting and controls
• Serve as the primary accounting liaison to FP&A to explain variances and align on accrual estimates
• Own and manage the monthly financial close, including journal entry review and balance sheet reconciliations
• Lead the integration of Canadian operations into the team's scope
• Support external audit coordination and maintenance of accounting policy documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in a multi-entity/multi-currency environment
• Prior experience managing or mentoring staff
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP (specifically ASC 350-40)
• Hands-on experience with Oracle or a comparable ERP

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience improving close cycle performance through process redesign
• Experience with Oracle fixed asset or inventory processes
• Experience with FloQast or BlackLine
