Senior Manager, Applied AI Engineering

Responsibilities

• Assume end-to-end ownership of AI engineering projects from requirements through production deployment
• Design GCP infrastructure including Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, CI/CD, and security controls
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and challenge scope when necessary
• Lead company-wide AI infrastructure rollout and upskilling initiatives
• Develop PRDs, architecture documents, and project scopes for contractors and partners
• Forecast build timelines and resource requirements for concurrent initiatives
• Direct and quality-review the output of external engineering contractors
• Build scalable documentation and operational foundations

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and technical program/product management
• Active, daily use of LLM-based AI tools (Claude, Gemini, or equivalent)
• Demonstrated ability to architect and own GCP infrastructure end-to-end
• Proven capacity to move from ambiguous problems to structured technical plans
• Strong ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders and translate needs into specifications
• Experience writing PRDs and architecture documents
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with mobile development constraints and cross-platform frameworks
• Experience with Salesforce integrations or CRM-adjacent technical work
• Experience managing external engineering contractors or vendors
• Background in MedTech, health IT, or a regulated industry
