Senior Manager, Business Operations

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end outcomes for assigned areas, including SLA/SLO performance, quality, and team throughput
• Lead operating teams, including on/offshore specialists, through goal setting, capacity planning, and talent development
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for customers and stakeholders, managing escalations and risk communication
• Establish and track key metrics such as cycle time, error rates, and utilization
• Identify root causes of inefficiencies and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve them
• Partner with engineering and product teams to scope and ship automation and tooling improvements
• Translate operational patterns into repeatable, scalable playbooks

Requirements

• 5+ years in strategy & operations, bizops, management consulting, or a similar rigorous environment
• 2+ years of experience managing teams, including performance management and goal-setting
• Proven ability to diagnose operational problems and build structure around ambiguity
• Strong analytical skills with experience owning KPI dashboards and spotting trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with operational tooling such as Airtable or Google Workspace
• Ability to quickly gain competence in new, complex domains

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to healthcare, health tech, or regulated industries
• Experience managing offshore or distributed teams
• Experience working in startup or high-growth environments
