Job description

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Compliance Leads and specialists
  • Execute the strategic vision for Product Strategy & Compliance across the global payroll platform
  • Translate complex payroll, employment, tax, and labor legislation into product specifications
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to embed compliance controls into product architecture
  • Oversee monitoring of legislative developments and support country expansion initiatives
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on compliance risk and market requirements

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of global payroll, employment, tax, and labor compliance
  • Experience translating regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing compliance or payroll teams
  • Strong understanding of payroll technology and product development lifecycles
  • Ability to drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Legal, and Operations stakeholders
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global payroll products in highly regulated environments
  • Ability to leverage technology, automation, and AI to improve compliance outcomes
