Job description
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of foundation grants, including proposal preparation, submission, reporting, and renewal tracking
- Draft, edit, and submit grant proposals and reports aligned with funder guidelines
- Review and strengthen regional grant submissions in partnership with fundraisers
- Coordinate with program and finance staff to gather data, budgets, and testimonials
- Maintain accurate records in the grants database and CRM
- Manage the grants inbox and monitor incoming requests
- Manage the direct mail program, including planning and execution of five initiatives per year
- Draft key communications from the CEO to major donors
- Support donor engagement efforts and prepare materials for the BBYO International Convention
- Identify and elevate impact stories for use across various communications
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in grants management, fundraising, non-profit development, or donor communications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to attend major BBYO events including Staff Conference and International Convention
