Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute comprehensive government relations, policy strategies, and corporate affairs campaigns across high-growth verticals including Pay, Food, and Quik
  • Engage at senior levels with government and non-government stakeholders to advocate for win-win regulatory outcomes
  • Act as the primary interface for government interactions, representing the company to sector regulators, technology entities, and key ministries
  • Prioritize public policy objectives, risks, and opportunities across various markets to ensure efficient resource allocation
  • Identify and execute strategic partnerships that deliver long-term value to the technology ecosystem
  • Drive internal communications and create case studies or white papers to demonstrate the impact of the public policy function
  • Monitor industry trends and public knowledge to proactively manage the brand's regulatory reputation

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in the Middle East (predominantly UAE and Saudi Arabia) within a private company, law firm, management consultancy, or multilateral organization
  • Professional fluency in both Arabic and English is essential
  • High degree of rigor in developing quantitative and economic justifications to support policy positions
  • Outstanding ability to build and communicate complex positions to high-level officials
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and leading public policy teams across multiple geographies
