Senior Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and timely filing of SEC reports including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and proxy statements
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and XBRL tagging
• Prepare or review supporting schedules for financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A sections
• Maintain the reporting calendar and ensure timely execution of deliverables
• Lead the review process with legal, external auditors, and internal stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement across the reporting function and streamline processes
• Help establish and maintain SOX-compliant internal controls over financial reporting
• Research and assess new accounting standards and translate guidance into practical application
• Provide technical accounting guidance to finance and cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Active CPA required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Deep experience in SEC reporting (Regs S-X and S-K)
• Experience with public company reporting and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency with Workiva (required)
• Experience with NetSuite (preferred)
• Mix of public company and Big 4 experience strongly preferred
