Job description

Responsibilities

  • Manage the vetting and selection of local organizations to serve as Outpost partners
  • Support the execution and management of high-quality business strategies and plans
  • Work with Outposts and BSF Programs and Digital teams to identify programs and events
  • Train and onboard new outposts
  • Collaborate with Research and Evaluation teams on national research initiatives
  • Partner with Strategic Alliances and Government Relations teams to engage stakeholders
  • Communicate KPIs to evaluate and track Outpost performance and impact
  • Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets, contracts, and MOUs
  • Manage Outpost marketing, public relations, and social media strategies
  • Support expansion into new markets through outreach and partner development
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts through storytelling and stakeholder engagement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or commensurate experience
  • 4-7 years of experience in program management and community outreach
  • Experience monitoring budgets and reviewing contracts
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Cultural competence in the military and Veteran space
  • Ability to travel overnight several times per year for staff offsites and events
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
  • Ability to lift and carry supplies up to 30 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with membership-driven organizations
