Job description

Responsibilities

  • Manage technology-driven initiatives to optimize clinical and EHR workflows for program-specific reporting requirements
  • Deliver and interpret technical specifications for quality programs through advanced data analysis
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to manage quality improvement programs and end-of-year reporting
  • Design and maintain data collection workflows from multiple EHR systems to ensure data integrity
  • Utilize SQL and data analytics tools to analyze large healthcare datasets for performance insights
  • Collaborate with EHR vendors to optimize data extraction using C-CDA, QRDA, and other healthcare data formats
  • Monitor practice quality performance and develop data-driven strategies for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Public Health, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare quality reporting (ACO, MSSP, REACH, or MIPS)
  • 3+ years of experience in value-based care, population health, or quality improvement
  • Deep understanding of CMS quality measures including eCQMs, CAHPS, and Medicare CQMs
  • Understanding of clinical workflows and how data is captured in EHR systems
  • Knowledge of healthcare administrative and clinical datasets
  • Experience working with EHR, practice management, or population health platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying large healthcare datasets
  • Intermediate understanding of EHR data integration and standards (FHIR, QRDA, C-CDA, SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, CPT, RxNorm)
  • Experience with clinical data pipelines, ingestion, normalization, and mapping
  • Familiarity with software development environments and version control systems
  • Experience applying project management principles and team leadership
