Senior Manager, Tax (MENA and APAC)

Responsibilities

• Act as a dedicated regional tax partner to MENA and APAC leadership, providing guidance on the tax consequences of commercial decisions and new market entries.
• Collaborate with the Global Tax team in London to ensure regional strategies align with group goals, including OECD Pillar Two and global cash tax management.
• Lead high-impact strategic projects, such as restructuring for international expansion or assessing the tax impact of innovative fintech products.
• Take full ownership of the direct tax lifecycle for regional entities, including leading the transition and compliance for the UAE Corporate Tax regime.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust regional transfer pricing policies and manage end-to-end tax reporting processes.
• Drive operational excellence by building automated systems to streamline the tax function and managing relationships with regional tax authorities.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of deep tax experience, ideally blending Big 4 training with in-house experience in Fintech or Financial Services.
• Expert-level technical knowledge of International Tax principles and the UAE Corporate Tax regime.
• Professional tax qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent.
• Strong ability to distill complex tax provisions into clear, actionable advice for non-tax stakeholders.
• A hands-on, proactive mentality with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience within APAC jurisdictions.
