Senior Manager, Technical Program Management

Responsibilities

• Stand up the TPM function at Supabase by defining the operating model, engagement standards, and hiring the team.
• Manage and coach a team of senior IC TPMs, ensuring the function provides high-leverage connective tissue rather than just status collection.
• Own the cross-functional interface between Engineering, Product, and Design and the rest of the company (Customer Success, Support, GTM, PMM).
• Author the company standard for project management in Linear, including project structure, milestones, and leadership views.
• Manage the dependency graph and launch readiness for large-scale, multi-team programs and platform initiatives.
• Build the program-level rollup infrastructure to make program state legible to leadership without increasing load on engineering teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical program management, including scaling TPM functions in high-growth companies.
• Experience managing a team of senior IC TPMs.
• Strong technical fluency with the ability to read code and discuss architecture and dependencies with senior engineers.
• Proven experience building cross-functional interfaces between engineering and field teams (GTM, Support, etc.).
• Proficiency with Linear, Jira, or equivalent tools at scale.
• Excellent written and asynchronous communication skills for a globally distributed team.
• High judgment and the ability to lead through influence rather than positional authority.
