Senior Manager, Technical Program Management

Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search.

Responsibilities

• Stand up the TPM function, defining the operating model, engagement model, and standards
• Manage and grow a team of senior IC TPMs
• Own the cross-functional interface between Engineering, Product, Design, and GTM/Support/Success teams
• Author the company standard for project management in Linear
• Own the dependency graph and launch readiness for large cross-functional programs
• Build program-level rollup infrastructure to make state legible to leadership

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical program management
• Experience standing up or scaling a TPM function in a high-growth software company
• Experience managing a team of senior IC TPMs
• Strong technical fluency and ability to discuss architecture and dependencies with engineers
• Experience building cross-functional interfaces between engineering and field teams
• Proficiency with Linear, Jira, or equivalent at scale
• Excellent asynchronous and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Clear point of view on the distinction between TPM and PMO
• Ability to operate effectively without positional authority
