Responsibilities

• Work with prospective medical school candidates to build profiles and draft compelling application documents
• Manage relationships with applicants and families providing strategic guidance on school selection, essays, and interviews
• Identify optimal medical programs and schools that align with individual student backgrounds and goals
• Support students with project planning, application timeline management, and progress tracking
• Stay up to date on medical school admissions processes and program nuances

Requirements

• Completed MD or DO degree
• Experience serving on a medical school admissions committee or board
• 5–7 years of experience in education, coaching, tutoring, or medical school admissions consulting
• Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills for medical school essays
• Strong verbal communication and organizational skills
• Expertise in project management and applicant tracking
