Senior ML Operations (MLOps) Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and operation of ML infrastructure and pipelines to deliver models to production for a fleet of IoT devices.
• Build and maintain scalable data ingestion, preprocessing, training, and inference pipelines with strong CI/CD for models.
• Collaborate with R&D, firmware, backend, and data teams to integrate ML inference reliably on devices and cloud services.
• Optimize compute, storage, and deployment resources for cost, latency, and reliability across training and inference workloads.
• Implement telemetry, monitoring, alerting, and feedback loops to track model performance and data drift in production.
• Develop tooling, microservices, and frameworks to streamline experimentation, model validation, and rollouts.
• Ensure secure ML operations and privacy-aware handling of health-related and IoT telemetry data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background optimizing ML infra for latency, throughput, and cloud cost.
• Knowledge of secure ML operations, privacy practices, and compliance considerations for health data.
• Familiarity with firmware integration, embedded telemetry, or wearables/medical devices.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) for model serving.
