Senior Node.js Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, resilient backend services and APIs
• Write, test, and debug complex code across new and existing applications
• Own features end-to-end from requirements to production monitoring
• Identify and resolve complex technical problems and architectural debt
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing and code reviews
• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with NestJS, RESTful APIs, and microservices
• Strong understanding of system design (microservices, event-driven architecture, CAP theorem)
• Database expertise in SQL and non-relational databases
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Git
• Experience with Kafka and BullMQ
• Proficiency with AWS SDK (S3, Bedrock) and Prometheus
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Go or .NET
• Experience with Strapi CMS or headless CMS platforms
• Familiarity with Terraform or Terragrunt
