Senior Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Run and scale production AWS and EKS including cluster lifecycle and autoscaling
• Manage cloud and cluster configuration declaratively with Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, eksctl and GitOps
• Ship through GitHub Actions and GitOps (Argo CD / Flux) with automated build, test, and dependency gating
• Manage security including SAST/DAST scanning, secrets management, and least-privilege IAM
• Own observability metrics, logs, and traces across Datadog and Sentry
• Operate PostgreSQL, MongoDB / Atlas, OpenSearch / Elasticsearch, and Temporal
• Build automation and internal tooling in Python, Bash, Go, and Node.js / TypeScript

Requirements

• 5+ years running AWS and Kubernetes in production (EKS preferred)
• Strong experience with Terraform and Kubernetes manifests (Helm, Kustomize)
• Proficiency with GitOps delivery tools like Argo CD and/or Flux
• Experience with SAST/DAST, secrets management, and vulnerability management
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog or Sentry
• Programming proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript, Python, and Bash scripting
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and load balancing

Preferred Qualifications

• AI / ML infrastructure experience (model-training pipelines, vector search)
• Cloud cost and capacity management at scale
• Experience in compliance-sensitive environments (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001)
