Responsibilities

  • Create and implement automated configuration and deployment processes to enhance platform performance and management
  • Establish and manage administrator and service accounts while maintaining system documentation
  • Utilize scripting tools to craft self-service capabilities within the PaaS to foster a seamless developer experience
  • Collaborate closely with developers to diagnose and troubleshoot problems
  • Take on operational responsibility for services under team ownership
  • Champion AI-augmented ways of working to accelerate delivery and reduce cycle time

Requirements

  • 6-10 years in cloud/platform operations or related roles
  • Proficiency in administering cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Expertise in Kubernetes container orchestration
  • Proficient use of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Linux Operating Systems administration
  • Skilled in developing automation solutions using scripting languages
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (Load Balancers, DNS, SSL, Firewalls, NAT, NTP)
  • Experience handling large-scale production systems
  • Degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance for US Government work
  • U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix command line interface troubleshooting
  • Professional Certifications (RHCE, Linux+, MCSA, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, Security+, CISSP, or CCNA)
  • Background in DevOps automation practices
  • Direct experience in client interaction
