Senior PostgreSQL Database Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide expert assistance to customer DBA teams for high-complexity PostgreSQL problems
• Investigate issues and provide detailed technical analysis via email, chat, or voice
• Author technical content including blog posts, forum answers, and knowledge base articles

Requirements

• Deep, hands-on expert knowledge of PostgreSQL and its ecosystem (Patroni, pgBouncer, etc.)
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and high availability solutions
• Demonstrable experience administering Linux systems and working with Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications

• Software development experience in C, C++, or Go
• Advanced Linux troubleshooting skills using tools like gdb, perf, or strace
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
