Senior Product Designer, Bitbucket

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design for Bitbucket features, focusing on developer workflows and AI-enabled SDLC functionality.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define requirements, iterate designs, and drive implementation in a hybrid Dubai-based team.
• Conduct user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) and translate findings into actionable design decisions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity prototypes, and production-ready UI assets using modern design tools.
• Contribute to and evolve design systems to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability across the product.
• Advocate for developer-centered UX, balancing innovation (AI features) with reliability and performance.
• Present and defend design decisions in cross-functional reviews and mentor junior designers.
