Senior Product Designer (First Design Hire)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first Product Designer based in Dubai, UAE — own the end-to-end product design lifecycle from discovery and research through UI, handoff, QA and post-launch analysis.
• Audit existing product UIs, user flows and customer journeys to identify friction and opportunity areas.
• Build and maintain a complete Figma design twin and create the v1 design system (components, spacing, interaction rules) aligned with engineering Storybook.
• Define tracking plans and build Amplitude funnels and dashboards to measure onboarding, activation and feature adoption.
• Redesign onboarding and core flows to shorten time-to-"aha" and improve activation metrics; run user tests and iterate based on data.
• Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mockups detailing interactions, edge cases, empty states and error states.
• Collaborate closely with the CPO and engineers (Vue.js / Tailwind stack) to deliver implementation-ready specifications, assets and perform design QA on staging.
• Participate in customer calls and session reviews to ground design decisions in real user feedback.
• Ensure visual consistency across product, marketing and sales materials.
