Senior Product Designer - Pay Ecosystem

Responsibilities

• Influence product strategy and identify opportunities within the Pay Ecosystem aligned to business objectives and customer needs.
• Lead and apply research methodologies to surface deep customer insights and inform design decisions for payroll, payments, and compliance workflows.
• Rapidly prototype concepts (including AI-assisted prototypes), iterate on user flows, and deliver high-fidelity UI with strong interaction design.
• Champion and contribute to the design system to maintain consistency, scalability, and accessibility across products.
• Communicate design vision clearly through storytelling, documentation, and presentations to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Solve complex problems using systems thinking, considering information architecture, scalability, and cross-product impact.
• Share work transparently, gather feedback across the organization, and mentor peers through critique and collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with evidence of end-to-end ownership and measurable impact.
• Strong portfolio with case studies that demonstrate research, problem framing, solution design, and outcomes.
• Proven experience designing for complex B2B SaaS or regulated domains (FinTech, HRTech preferred).
• Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma or equivalent) and familiarity with AI-assisted prototyping workflows.
• Systems thinking and experience working with or contributing to design systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable working async and across time zones.
• Demonstrable understanding of accessibility, usability, and scalable interaction patterns.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience designing global payroll, payments, or HR-related products.
• Experience working in remote-first, asynchronous environments.
• Familiarity with analytics-driven design and using product/data metrics to inform decisions.
• Experience advocating for and evolving a shared design system in a distributed team.
