The Solana Foundation is a non-profit based in Zug, Switzerland, dedicated to the adoption, decentralization, and security of the Solana network. Solana is a high performance blockchain that can deliver a fast and friendly user experience, without sacrificing security.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end UX design for Solana Foundation web products from discovery and research through wireframes, prototyping, and final specs
• Conduct user research, synthesize insights, and translate them into clear product decisions
• Define information architecture, user flows, and interaction patterns for complex, data-intensive interfaces
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ship high-quality experiences
• Contribute visual design polish including typography, spacing, and component systems
• Maintain and evolve design systems across Foundation products for consistency and scalability
• Advocate for the user in cross-functional discussions

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX depth including user research, flows, and wireframes
• Proven ability to design complex B2B or professional-grade web products
• Deep web design craft for desktop and web environments
• Strong systems thinking and ability to design for scale
• Familiarity with AI design-to-code tools
• Basic knowledge of frontend development languages (HTML, CSS, JS)
• Proficiency with Figma and design systems
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for institutional users, asset managers, or compliance-focused products
• Familiarity with Web3, blockchain, or crypto products
• Experience with token management, onchain data, or DeFi interfaces
• Background in fintech product design
