Senior Product Designer

About the Company

Zero is a small team inside Metalab. We explore new tools, workflows, and ways of building products. We test ideas fast, validate what works, and feed learnings back to the broader org.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship product experiences across web, mobile, AI-native, and emerging interfaces
• Translate ambiguous product briefs into working prototypes and shipped artifacts
• Use AI tools and agents as a core part of your workflow to design, prototype, and produce working code
• Collaborate closely with engineering leads on larger products while independently owning implementation for prototypes and MVPs
• Present work clearly to clients and internal teams
• Build, test, and improve design tooling and AI workflows

Requirements

• Product design experience at a digital product agency, studio, or consultancy
• Strong UI/UX fundamentals including systems thinking and product intuition
• Experience building with AI tools such as Cursor, v0, Lovable, or Claude
• Functional understanding of frontend development (components, layout, responsive behavior, basic state)
• A bias toward making ideas tangible quickly
• Passion for how AI is reshaping product design
