Apella is applying computer vision and machine learning to improve the standard of care in the most critical aspect of healthcare: surgery. We build applications to enable surgeons, nurses, and hospital administrators to deliver the highest quality care.

Responsibilities

• Evolve the strategic vision and roadmap of the Pulse product to support operational efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and machine learning partners
• Evaluate new opportunities within OR operations workflows
• Lead day-to-day execution for real-time OR efficiency products, including live video and mobile
• Balance product roadmap requirements against professional services needs

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in ambiguous, fast-moving domains
• Strong user research instincts and experience observing real-world workflows
• Fluency in data analysis and model evaluation
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment and self-manage goals
• Strong communication skills for collaborating across technical and commercial teams
