Senior Product Manager, Data Platform

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the data product strategy and roadmap aligned with company objectives and customer needs
• Develop business cases and investment recommendations for new platform capabilities and data services
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data products and insights solutions
• Translate business requirements into technical data product capabilities
• Partner with engineering and analytics teams to optimize data platforms and reporting solutions
• Conduct market research and customer discovery to identify emerging data opportunities
• Define and monitor KPIs for data products to measure performance and business impact
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to uncover data-enabled solution opportunities
• Develop data product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies
• Serve as the voice of the customer to ensure data products deliver actionable insights and trust

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of product management experience with technical products or platform capabilities
• Background in data platforms, interoperability, APIs, analytics, or healthcare technology
• Healthcare data background in payer, provider, or health technology settings
• Working knowledge of healthcare data domains like claims, eligibility, or clinical documentation
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, X12, or APIs
• Ability to write product requirements for data ingestion, mapping, and governance
• Ability to explain complex healthcare data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with utilization management, prior authorization, or care management
• Familiarity with EHR, claims, or healthcare data platform systems
• Experience building capabilities for partners, third-party applications, or customer-configured workflows
• Understanding of audit trails, data lineage, and regulated healthcare data governance
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development or agentic tooling
