Job description

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth initiatives across the backer journey, optimizing discovery, conversion, and engagement across web and mobile platforms with a focus on mobile
  • Own the product roadmap for Kickstarter's mobile app experience and partner with engineering on cross-platform development decisions
  • Develop and test growth hypotheses with marketing, insights, and engineering using A/B testing and experimental frameworks
  • Own complex OKRs driving key growth metrics including backer acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Communicate roadmaps, updates, and results to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Manage complex roll-outs, coordinating QA and cross-platform releases with Legal, Product Marketing, Trust and Safety, and Community Support

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of product management experience
  • Proven experience driving growth for consumer-facing digital products and designing experiments
  • Meaningful mobile product experience, including taking an app from 0 to 1
  • Experience with marketplace or e-commerce products and reducing user friction
  • Strong track record of shipping products that deliver measurable user impact
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing through ambiguity
  • Comfort operating in technical discussions and evaluating engineering trade-offs
  • Experience managing complex roll-outs and cross-platform releases
