Senior Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead for all contract activities, tasks, and delegated functions for partners and vendors
• Develop plans, policies, procedures, resource plans, schedules, and budgets for the full lifecycle of events
• Organize and manage team members for complex project administration and event planning tasks
• Maintain frequent communication with government customers and stakeholders regarding program progress and risks
• Identify and document risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Prepare and submit required deliverables, reports, and contract documents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality, Events Planning, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience for teams of 20+ employees
• Minimum 3 years of managing event planners, training coordinators, or logistics specialists in high-volume environments
• Proven background in large-scale, multi-location event and training program logistics for federal government events
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Level Clearance within six months of contract start date
• Ability to travel to domestic and overseas event locations

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Army Regulations, FAR/JTR travel rules, and childcare protection laws
