Senior Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of large and small projects
• Develop technical solutions for complex utility design projects including treatment plants and water distribution systems
• Serve as Technical Lead for respective disciplines, coordinating with other design disciplines and subcontractors
• Supervise and train less experienced staff by providing daily guidance and reviewing work
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and financial performance for assigned tasks
• Lead construction administration tasks including submittal reviews, RFIs, and change orders
• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, proposals, and contracts

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline
• 6+ years of drinking water engineering experience (or 5+ years with a Master's Degree)
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain licensure within one year
• Proven technical writing skills for reports and proposals
• Ability to supervise and train staff
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
