Senior Project Manager - Banking As a Service Platform - MEA

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery of Banking-as-a-Service platforms across MEA, overseeing API integrations, core banking connectors, and third-party fintech modules
• Manage full project lifecycle for multiple concurrent client implementations with Tier-1 banks and fintechs, ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for banking partners, guiding their engineering teams through onboarding, configuration, and UAT
• Ensure all deployments comply with regional standards including SAMA and CBUAE requirements, plus internal cybersecurity protocols for data residency and encryption
• Translate client requirements into technical specifications and resolve complex deployment blockers with internal Product and Engineering teams
• Proactively identify technical risks such as integration lag or legacy system incompatibilities, developing mitigation plans to ensure project stability
• Continuously refine implementation playbooks to accelerate time-to-market and improve scalability of partner onboarding

Requirements

• 10+ years in technical project management or implementation leadership within Fintech or Banking environments
• Hands-on experience delivering complex financial software including RESTful APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and ISO 20022 messaging standards
• Proven track record managing high-stakes implementations for multiple Tier-1 banks and agile fintech startups simultaneously
• Solid understanding of Middle Eastern fintech landscape, including technical compliance requirements for SAMA (KSA) and CBUAE (UAE)
• Expert-level command of Agile and Scrum methodologies with ability to manage technical backlogs and sprint cycles
• Strong stakeholder communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business value for C-suite audiences
