Senior Psychometrician

Responsibilities

• Head technical operational and research projects dealing with early childhood and early literacy assessments
• Plan, coordinate, and perform statistical review for basic and complex projects
• Provide guidance and oversight to project staff on technical aspects of their work
• Work autonomously on statistical and psychometric examination phases
• Represent organization's position on technical issues to clients and external boards
• Manage statistical design including Variance Estimations, Sample Design, and Statistical Modeling
• Ensure quality control of deliverables
• Design and document technical procedures and statistical guidelines
• Apply advanced knowledge of statistical procedures and programming in R

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Statistics, Education Measurement, Psychometrics, or related field
• Advanced training in Item Response Theory, Scaling and Equating, and Computer Adaptive Testing
• At least 4 years of professional experience with assessment systems and Sampling Theory
• Proficiency in statistical programming (e.g., R)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a consulting environment
