Senior Python Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own integrations and software support for Nabu Casa products across Home Assistant and ESPHome ecosystems
• Build and maintain Python integrations, proxy libraries, and software components connecting hardware to the ecosystem
• Collaborate with Embedded Linux and Hardware teams to translate hardware capabilities into software integrations

Requirements

• Strong Python development experience including async/await and testing frameworks
• Meaningful experience contributing to large open-source projects via public pull requests
• Experience building integrations, APIs, or software for connected devices

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous contributions to Home Assistant or ESPHome
• Experience building software for IoT or smart home products
• Familiarity with Raspberry Pi or embedded Linux ecosystems
