Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain robust end-to-end test automation frameworks using tools like Playwright
• Design test strategies covering UI, API, smart contract interactions, and wallet flows
• Write and maintain tests for Web3 user journeys including wallet connection and transaction signing
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate test authoring
• Champion quality culture across the engineering organization

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in QA engineering with a focus on automation
• Deep hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python
• Experience designing and scaling test frameworks from the ground up
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Web3 concepts like wallets, smart contracts, and gas
• Active user of AI code generation tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience at an early-stage or growth-stage startup
• Exposure to performance, load, or security testing in Web3
• Contributions to open-source testing tools
• Familiarity with blockchain explorers or subgraph testing
