Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for backend services and distributed systems
• Take ownership of quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle
• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and test scripts for RESTful APIs
• Build test scenarios for high-concurrency and distributed systems focusing on data consistency and reliability
• Test and validate APIs, database models, message-driven workflows, and system integrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality risks
• Conduct code and technical design reviews and drive QA best practices
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and identify reliability risks
• Improve testing efficiency via CI/CD integration, test coverage, and observability
• Contribute to the development of AI engineering capabilities and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of QA or software testing experience with backend and API focus
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs, authentication, and error handling
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks using Java, Python, or similar
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and fault tolerance
• Experience testing microservices and asynchronous systems
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience with caching technologies like Redis
• Familiarity with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or RocketMQ
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Locust
• Basic proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Web3, digital wallet, custody, or financial transaction systems
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and cryptography
• Experience testing blockchain infrastructure or smart contracts
• Experience testing high-throughput, low-latency backend systems
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
• Experience with security testing and transaction integrity
• Experience applying AI to improve test automation or engineering productivity
