Senior QA Engineer - Payment

Responsibilities

• • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, encompassing all stages from requirements analysis to test planning, execution, defect tracking, through to product delivery and maintenance
    • Work closely with fellow software engineers, product managers, user experience designers, and operation engineers, contributing insights and feedback on design optimization, and system implementation
    • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases
    • Perform extensive testing, including blackbox, whitebox, and automated scripts on multiple platforms such as Web and Mobile App
    • Hands-on manual investigation and root cause analysis of product issues
    • Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage
    • Stay ahead with the latest technology trends, persistently enhancing the team's testing process, methodologies, and efficiency

Requirements

• • Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or relevant fields
    • Prior knowledge in the payment/funding related domain would be highly advantageous
    • Competence in designing, writing and executing comprehensive testing plans and test cases
    • Strong knowledge of Software QA Automation methodologies, Backend Testing, Auto frameworks and design processes
    • Solid knowledge of SQL, Hands on solid coding / writing script capability (Java preferred)
    • Experience in functional testing for web and mobile applications is a big plus
    • Proficient in conducting root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues impacting software quality
    • Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
    • Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently within a team centric environment
    • Enjoys breaking things and solving problems - not just able to find out the 'what', but also the 'why'
    • User Focus mindset, demonstrate good logical thinking and seamless team communication skills
