Senior QA Engineer - Payment Tech (Java coding)

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire software development lifecycle, encompassing all stages from requirements analysis to test planning, execution, defect tracking, through to product delivery and maintenance
• Work closely with fellow software engineers, contributing insights and feedback on design optimisation and system implementation
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases
• Perform extensive testing, including Blackbox, Whitebox, and Automation on BE API and Web
• Hands-on Manual investigation and root cause analysis of product issues
• Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in end to end Automation testing
• Competence in designing, writing and executing comprehensive testing plans and test cases
• Strong knowledge of Software QA Automation methodologies, Backend Testing, Automation frameworks and design processes
• Solid knowledge of SQL. Solid coding / writing script capability (Java preferred)
• Experience in Functional testing for Web applications and BE APIs
• Proficient in conducting root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues impacting software quality
• Fluency in both English and Chinese
• Bonus: Prior knowledge in the Funding/Blockchain related domain
• UTC+8 preferred
