Senior React Native Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of high-performance React Native apps for iOS and Android, operating from Dubai, UAE (hybrid).
• Build and maintain custom native modules and React Native bridges in Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java when JavaScript is insufficient.
• Debug and resolve native-level performance issues using Xcode Instruments and Android Studio Profiler (crashes, memory leaks, CPU, and threading issues).
• Integrate third-party native SDKs and manage OS updates across platforms.
• Implement and manage API integration (REST/GraphQL) with robust caching and error handling strategies.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive UIs across device sizes and platforms.
• Write testable code and maintain unit, integration, and E2E test coverage (Jest, Detox/Appium).
• Mentor teammates, conduct code reviews, and drive mobile architecture and performance best practices.

• Prior ownership of mobile architecture and performance optimization initiatives.
• Familiarity with secure storage patterns and OWASP mobile security guidance.
