Senior Retail Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day retail order fulfillment and resolve shipment issues
• Proactively manage base inventory to prevent shortages
• Process new orders accurately and on schedule
• Run proactive inventory reviews for promotions and new item launches
• Track OTIF performance, chargebacks, and late trucks
• Manage 3PL and logistics partner relationships and SLAs
• Build and document SOPs for receiving, lot/expiry management, and returns
• Identify tools and AI workflows to improve efficiency

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in retail operations, order fulfillment, or replenishment in a CPG environment
• Direct experience with Walmart and Club channels (Sam's Club, Costco)
• Experience with distributors like UNFI or KeHE
• Understanding of EDI order management, lot codes, and expiration handling
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, basic modeling)
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems (Fulfil.io is a plus)
• Ability to use AI tools like Claude to enhance productivity
