About the Company

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and perform Verification & Validation (V&V) of autonomous vehicle system architecture
  • Develop autonomous driving systems and construct the safety case to defend solution integrity
  • Drive the creation and deployment of dependable, safety-critical systems for autonomous driving
  • Define and monitor KPIs for data-driven engineering and system performance
  • Develop data collection and analysis pipelines to support V&V processes
  • Define safety goals and requirements based on ODD, hazards, and risks
  • Create and manage requirements documentation, traceability, and system architecture
  • Identify and communicate risks while coordinating solutions across teams
  • Craft a pioneering safety framework for autonomous airside driving

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with systems engineering (V Model, requirements documentation, traceability, V&V)
  • Experience generating safety artifacts (HARAs, FMEAs, FTAs, STPAs)
  • Experience developing and deploying robotic systems or autonomous vehicles with safety-critical components
  • Functional safety and SOTIF basic experience
  • Basic proficiency in Python or SQL for data analysis
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience with DOORS, Jama, Polarion, or Enterprise Architect
  • Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600, IEC 61508, ANSI B56.5, ISO3691, ANSI 15.08)
  • Experience with safety in aviation, airline, or robotics applications
  • Familiarity with airside driving environments at major global airports
  • Experience with cybersecurity for automated vehicles
  • Background in data science and statistical analysis
