Senior Satellite Constellation Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for overall program success, ensuring capabilities meet customer and business needs
• Serve as the primary bridge for contract execution in the MENA region, integrating regional nuances into execution strategy
• Deliver on program-level requirements while building customer relationships and satisfaction
• Ensure CxS programs align with Pelican's commercial, technical, and product roadmaps
• Represent programs to senior leadership and the broader company
• Execute CxS contracts by leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, product, finance, and commercial boundaries
• Assess and balance execution risk across engineering, launch, and operations
• Act as a brand ambassador for the CxS business line to partners, customers, and the press

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in space systems development, management, or operations
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Fluency in Arabic and professional proficiency in English
• Deep expertise in LEO satellite operations and satellite design
• Knowledge of tasking business models and remote sensing technology
• Ability to operate autonomously in information-rich environments
• Ability to travel within the Middle East and to California or Germany 2-3 times per year
• Availability to collaborate across Pacific and Europe timezones

• Success in developing, managing, or operating large satellite constellations
• Expertise in leading major corporate initiatives through cross-departmental teams
• Proven track record of proactively managing and mitigating program risk for space programs
