Senior Security Automation Engineer

Requirements

• 5+ years in security operations with SOC understanding
• 3+ years designing and building security automation/orchestration workflows
• Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms (Tines, Torq, or Cortex XSOAR)
• Proficiency with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON
• Scripting ability in Python
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, ticketing, and threat intelligence tools
• Ability to decompose manual processes into automated workflows
• Experience with emerging technologies including AI tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with LLMs and AI-assisted coding tools
• Ability to scope automation requirements with clients
• Platform certifications (Tines, Torq, Cortex XSOAR, Splunk, etc.)
• Cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
• Prior experience in consulting, professional services, or MSSP
• Detection engineering exposure (Sigma, detections-as-code)
• Version control experience (Git)
