Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the application security program using SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling
• Participate in threat modeling and secure design reviews
• Share incident response on-call duties and refine runbooks
• Harden cloud and Kubernetes environments across GCP and GKE
• Build high-signal detections and security automation for cloud and identity telemetry
• Streamline customer security questionnaires and audits
• Strengthen business continuity and disaster recovery plans
• Drive a security culture through developer training and secure-coding guidance

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure and automation
• 3+ years of experience with cloud providers, preferably GCP
• Experience achieving SOC2 Type II, ISO 27001, or similar certifications
• Experience with Node.js or Python in a microservices architecture
• Solid experience with cloud security including IAM, Kubernetes, and IaC
• Knowledge of asynchronous processing and message queues like Kafka or Pub/Sub
