Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to improve security through consultation, education, tooling, and process improvements
• Perform targeted code reviews and security assessments throughout the Secure Development Lifecycle
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and provide practical guidance and risk assessments for secure adoption
• Contribute to scalable solutions to reduce recurring security challenges across the organization
• Handle and remediate application vulnerability reports from third-party sources
• Command incidents and facilitate post-mortem investigations
• Participate in on-call rotation and operational tasks

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience contributing to secure outcomes with engineering teams
• Experience with OWASP Top 10 and industry standards
• Experience with application security and security testing
• Proficiency in secure code review with skills in PHP, Python, Kotlin, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
