Senior Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security for endpoints and distributed systems
• Deploy and operate security stacks including MDM, EDR/XDR, ZTNA, and SSO
• Enforce zero-trust principles, least-privilege access, and hardening standards
• Lead initiatives around endpoint hardening, access controls, and vendor risk
• Conduct security design reviews, risk assessments, and vulnerability remediation
• Respond to security incidents and collaborate on detection rules and monitoring
• Automate workflows and create runbooks to scale security operations
• Evangelize security best practices and build awareness programs across the organization

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in corporate/enterprise security, IT security, or endpoint security engineering
• Hands-on experience with MDM Platforms (JAMF, Kandji, Intune, etc.)
• Experience with EDR/XDR solutions (Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, etc.)
• Proficiency with Identity and Access Management (Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, etc.)
• Understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, etc.)
• Knowledge of zero-trust principles and least-privilege models
• Cloud security experience with AWS or GCP
• macOS security expertise including architecture and fleet management

Preferred Qualifications

• Crypto, web3, or FinTech experience
• Detection and response experience including SIEM, log analysis, or threat hunting
• Knowledge of modern threat landscapes and adversary TTPs
• Experience with security compliance frameworks like SOC 2 or ISO 27001
