Senior Security Researcher

Responsibilities

• Locate, target and recapture data from Phishing-as-a-Service (PhaaS) kits using human intelligence and platform sourcing
• Apply data science techniques to refine and improve the PhaaS data sourcing pipeline
• Perform human intelligence techniques including persona management and actor engagements
• Draft research blogs and analytical products to support customers and business objectives
• Investigate threat actors and PhaaS to support research priorities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a cybersecurity researcher or analyst
• Working knowledge of modern PhaaS kits, including AiTM and Device Code phishing
• Knowledge of the criminal underground and deep/dark net data trading
• Experience with human intelligence techniques like elicitation and persona management
• Experience working in a remote environment with global teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, Rust, or Go
• Experience using data science to detect fraud or cyberthreats
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases
• Experience automating data collection and analysis
• Experience using AI/LLMs for large dataset analysis
• Experience scraping data from the deep and dark web
