Senior Settlement Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into complex settlement issues from intake through resolution
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, adjustments, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliation issues
• Analyze transaction data using dashboards, spreadsheets, SQL, and internal tools to identify root causes
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Engineering, Support, and Account Management
• Engage directly with merchants and external partners via email and Zoom to support resolution
• Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and scale operational workflows
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate investigations and improve operational efficiency
• Support reconciliation, reporting, and audits

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in settlement operations, payments, fintech, or finance operations
• Exceptional analytical and investigative skills
• Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets
• SQL proficiency
• Experience using AI tools for data analysis and workflow automation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and operational judgment
